The mantel will arrive in three pieces which are easily assembled with a cam-lock system. In addition, there are three pieces of scribe moldings which are attached to the inside opening of the mantel after installation. - Print Instructions

2. Does the mantel or shelf come with hardware and installation instructions?

Yes, mounting strips and masonry screws (which are also used for attaching to wood studs) are provided for installing the mounting strips to the wall or brick. The installer will need to provide finishing nails for attaching the mantel to the mounting strips.

3. What type of paint is used? Is it hard coated?

Yes, all of our finishes are produced with lacquer paint or stains and include a hard lacquer top coat.

4. Is there an extra charge for finishing? Does the price I see include finish?

Yes, the additional cost for finishing varies according to the type of mantel and can be found at the select finish section of each mantel.

The initial price seen on the web site is for the paint grade wood type and is unfinished.
