As an alternative to inexpensive tile surrounds and for a professional designer look, choose our a full size premium Golden Sand (aka Cashmere) Granite Facing Kit for your Fireplace. Granite is more uniform in its color pattern, stronger and more stain resistant than marble and has few, if any, flaws.

Golden Sand has a slight dimensional look to it, with multiple shades of beige and taupe,an occasional black fleck, along with rust-gold flecks. There is also a frequent shimmering gold pinpoint fleck. Stones with similar coloring include Venetian Gold Light, Amarillo Gold and Giallo Humaita. Standard Kits include 3/4" thick granite. For modest fees we will custom cut the the components of our facing kits. NOTE: Hearths longer than 72" are NOT available in this stone, but you can purchase an extra hearth and piece together a longer hearth, if needed.  Note: If you need components that are larger than our standard sizes you will need to contact us for a custom facing quote.
