For a carved stone mantel surround designed for smaller areas, the Vinemont is an excellent choice. This lightly distressed cast stone mantel surround creates a centuries old feel with artisan craftsmanship.  Our cast fireplace mantels have the look, feel and texture of natural limestone but are made from hybrid mixtures of gypsum, cement, aggregate and crushed stone, without the slightest aesthetic compromise. Most weigh 200 to 400 pounds and can be installed in a few hours by two people ... about 1/3 the weight of natural quarried stone.

Designed to fit most 36" wide fireboxes, the matching hearth is normally purchased to compliment the mantelpiece and is included in the 49 3/4" Overall Height. A "Riser Panel" is available and can be cut to size by your contractor for installations where the bottom of your fireplace opening is raised above the hearth. Riser panels can also be used nearly anywhere you need extra cast stone facing, to be cut on site.
