No. 105 French Marble Mantel, Circa 1720, Louis XV, French Rococo design. The Italian sculptor Dio spent nearly a year carving this masterpiece faithfully executing the Louis XV dictum of no right angles. Every curve is a compound curve and the shells and acanthus leaves are elaborately detailed. Formal and full sized, this antique reproduction french marble fireplace mantle readily becomes the focal point of a room.
