No. 400 Marble Mantel, circa 1780. English George III styling with Greek Revial elements. Large size. Center frieze is Diana the Huntress of Roman Mythology. Multi-tiered shelf with Egg and Dart border. Substantial plinth blocks support columns with Ionic scrolls and acanthus leaves corner blockings. This mantel has enormous presence!
