Our ** Made in the USA ** Travertine look thin-cast Stone Mantels for fireplaces come complete with interior facing and a matching stone hearth and has aged and rugged beauty. Be inspired by the classic and timeless beauty, durability and affordability of this classic style with understated elegance. Our cast fireplace mantels have the look, feel and texture of natural limestone but are made from hybrid mixtures of gypsum, cement, fiber materials, some aggregate and crushed stone without the slightest aesthetic compromise. Most weigh 200 to 300 pounds and can be assembled/installed in a few hours by two people ... about 1/3 the weight of natural quarried stone. The Travertina has a textured true travertine stone look and it is also available with a lighter almond buff sandstone finish.
A beautiful focal point of any home, our mantels are hand-made in America with the rugged appearance of authentic stone, but with architectural design. Constructed from a combination of gypsum and fiber materials, these mantels are lightweight, non-combustible and do not shrink or swell with temperature or humidity variations and they are easily installed by homeowners often.

This mantel system was nicely constructed. We were afraid that it would look cheap. But it was excellently put together. They give space to make adjustments to make it fit nicely around our fire box. The only thing is when you first install it dust comes off but with a good sealant it should do just fine. Very pleased.

I wanted to first of all thank you for your time and attention regarding our order for our mantel. It is absolutely beautiful. Even the contractors were blown away by how great it looks.
Can we seal it? We really just want to take care of this beautiful piece. (editor's reply: Yes...a siloxane sealer can be used.)
