1. Are the wood mantels fully assembled?

Our wood fireplace mantels will arrive in three pieces which are easily assembled with a cam-lock system. 2. Do your wood mantels or shelves come with hardware and installation instructions?

Yes, mounting strips and masonry screws (which can also be used for wood studs) are provided for installing the mounting strips to the wall or brick (normally in a mortar joint.) The installer will need to provide finishing nails for attaching the mantel to the mounting strips. 3. What type of paint is used on Wood products? Is it hard coated?

Yes, unlike our competitors, all of our professional finishes are produced with lacquer-based paint or stains and include either an integral or a lacquer top coat.

4. Is there an extra charge for painting or staining (aka finishing) wood products? Does the price I see include a finish?

The additional cost for finishing varies according to the type of product and its size. You can see the price adjust as you select optional finishes, or you may select "Unfinished" if you plan to paint or stain the wood product yourself. The initial (starting at) price seen on the web site is for our paint grade wood type without a factory finish.
