French Marble Mantel, Circa 1720, in Louis XV and luxurious Rococo design. The Orleans. The Italian sculptor Dio spent nearly a year carving this masterpiece faithfully executing the Louis XV dictum of no right angles. Every curve is a compound curve and the shells and acanthus leaves are elaborately detailed. The #105 from our Heritage Mantel Collection is formal and full sized.
